Important – New WOL and Parental Consent Forms
IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICE
Please remember the ONLY CURRENT WOL FORM is the one on the CGC website or at the sign in desk and you must complete these per CGC Rules and Requirements.
We have created a new Waiver of Liability (WOL) form that is effective immediately. The changes are in the lower section that has the information that must be completed by the guest and member sponsor. The old WOL had a section to be signed by the guest even if the guest was under the age of 18, which is not binding in Georgia – you must be at least 18 to sign a legal document. The CGC member MUST include their name and member ID # on all completed WOL forms.

Please discard ALL COPIES of old WOL and start using the new WOL from the club member’s area on our website. The OLD WOL forms are not acceptable for use as of July 17, 2025.
In order to comply with Federal Law a new Parental Consent form has been made. This form has been mentioned in older WOL forms, but as far as we know has never been used in the past.
According to Federal Law, only a parent or legal guardian may provide a minor under the age of 18 with a handgun or long gun to use under their supervision. The only exception is a person who has been given permission by the parent or legal guardian to sign the WOL on their behalf and allow the minor to handle any firearms while on CGC property. This means that if you bring anyone under the age of 18 to the club and allow them to handle firearms under your supervision without a Parental Consent form in your possession – you are breaking Federal Law and may be fined if you do not have written permission by the parent or guardian with you.

It is your responsibility to have this form with you whenever you bring a guest under the age of 18 to the club that is not your child or is not under your legal guardianship.
