With the exception of the Youth Programs and Member / Guest use, all future registered / organized Skeet Shooting events have been canceled. Reason for the cancellation is that after 23 years of service, the machines have become operationally unreliable, deemed antiquated by the factory, and some replacement components are no longer available or manufactured.
What service life that remains in these machines is being held in reserve for the good of the Membership and the main reason for limiting their use. When replacements do become available, it is my intention as Shoot Coordinator to reapply and resurrect all “Assistant Shoot Coordinator Organized Skeet Shooting Events” enjoyed in the not so distant past.
Until such time, continue to be safe, sweep the Houses out after every use, and enjoy your Membership. Special thanks to Pat Savage for all he has done for the sport / CGC Membership.
