CGC will be hosting a Meat Shoot on Saturday, Nov 21, starting 09:00. In addition to meat squads, we will shoot Brother in Law and Annie Oakley matches. The entry fee for meat squads will be $4.00. Thanks to the fine drone photography skills of Terry Jones (Membership Secretary), we have the following photo showing progress of the new pistol pits! On the far left we have the 200 yd berm of the rifle range. Then in the pistol area we have the existing Bays 1-4 (previously known as 5.5-8), and the three new bays 5,6, & 7. We’ll by seeding the new bays and look forward to shooting in them soon!

The original pistol bays above the creek will not be used in their current configuration, so with the new construction, we have re-numbered the bays. What had been 5.5 (the most recently added bay) is now 1, and the old 6-8 are now 2-4. So bays 1-4 are currently open. The new bays (5-7) are still under construction and will open ASAP.

All pistol bays are closed until further notice. Construction work is beginning immediately. We will be sure to let you know as soon as we can re-open any of the bays. Thanks. Bill LaPointe
